Overnight stay

At Daugbjerg Limestone Mines it is possible to stay overnight, except during the two periods when the bats need peace (1/9 to 31/10 and 16/3 to 10/5).

In the sleeping cave there are two poly-rattan sun loungers. Included in the luxury package when booking are the following: 2x2 sun-lounger cushions, 2 fiber duvets, 2 fiber pillows and two quilted blankets. Optional extras include firewood for the fire and bed linen. You have the limestone mines to yourselves from 16:00 to 10:00. The overnight stay is for 2 persons, with the option of adding extra guests (up to 2 extra in the sleeping cave).

Firewood 50 DKK per bucket.

You may bring your own linen and firewood, and it is allowed to use battery light chains, tea lights and regular candles under supervision, as well as Trangia stoves and other gas or spirit burners.

There is also an option for larger groups, scouts, groups of friends, schools or similar. Here you bring your own sleeping equipment and the price is 200 DKK per person, and you may sleep anywhere in the cave. The cave is yours from 16:00 to 10:00.

Above ground we have a shelter with space for 3 (max. 4) persons. The price is 30 DKK per person, minimum 90 DKK.
