The parking area also offers the possibility of overnight stays in motorhomes, trailer tents or caravans. From the parking lot it is about 700 meters through the forest along forest paths.

If you have a large picnic basket or passengers who are less mobile, you may drive down where it says “Authorized vehicles only”. This also applies to those staying overnight in the mines. Visitors with limited mobility may drive down to the forest cabin, but space is limited, so if possible it is best to only stop briefly for drop-off and pick-up.
