Daubenton's bat, Pond bat, Brandt's bat, Natterer's bat, Common pipistrelle, Brown long-eared bat and Greater mouse-eared bat have been recorded in the tunnels of Daugbjerg Limestone Mines and Dybdal Forest

Sleep in the mines together with the bats

It is possible to stay overnight in the mines, either alone, as a couple or in larger groups

The entrance to the mines was rediscovered 100 years ago

We are not just a hole in the ground where you can see bats – we are much more.

Already from the parking area you will feel the calm settle in your body and everyday stress fade away as you walk the approximately 700 meters from the parking lot through part of Dybdal Forest, which offers experiences all year round. The first buds of spring, the mirabelle blossom that turns much of the forest white, the cool green colours of summer, the rare mosses and ferns in the lime-rich soil. Large trees provide shade in the forest when temperatures rise, the beautiful colours of autumn in the treetops, the wild apples falling to the forest floor, and the fresh untouched snow of winter. Yes, every season offers something here in Dybdal Forest.

When you reach the forest cabin, you will find our shelter area, fire pit, covered outdoor area and toilets. Inside the forest cabin is the café where you pay the entrance fee, can buy inexpensive food and drinks, souvenirs and snacks. If you need to celebrate a life event, the forest cabin’s function rooms may be the perfect setting. Birthdays, weddings of any kind, family gatherings, christenings, confirmations and even memorial gatherings after funerals. The forest cabin function room has space for 50 dining guests in a separate room.

Experience an hour or more of exciting and challenging treasure hunting deep underground.

You must help find Jens Langkniv’s lost stolen goods through various stations and tasks!

You must think logically but also outside the box to find the treasure. So grab a flashlight and dive into the adventure! If you manage it in under an hour, you might make it onto the list.

The price is 800 DKK and must be booked at least 4 days in advance and is for up to 6 people.

Age 8-99 years.
